The Riley Motor Club is the second-oldest one make car club in the world.
The 1920's was a decade of unparalled motorsport success for the Riley marque.
In London-Exeter, London-Lands End and London-Edinburgh Trials and at the Brookland race circuit,
Riley cars collected trophy after trophy; however it was after the London-Edinburgh Trial held over Whitsun 1925 that twenty-one Riley competitors and their passengers dined at the Hydro Hotel, Peebles and the Riley Motor Club was formed - it has never looked back!
