 ish Mini Club's annual quarter-mile blast - British Mini Showdown - is a un
 ique event in itself to compliment the clubs extensive 2009 show portfolio.
  \n\nBelieve it or not owners of classic and modern Minis take drag racing 
 very seriously at Shakespeare County Raceway as they try for the top times 
 against the clock and in a quarter of a mile dash. Although the A-series en
 gine is morally still king, there are more and more Vauxhall, V-tec and mot
 orcycle bike powered Minis seen every year.
