"NEW ZEALAND’S PREMIER CLASSIC TOURING EVENT since 1992"

The coming 2010 Penrite Mainland Classic Tour in New Zealand’s South Island will be the tenth running, from Saturday morning the 16th to Saturday the 23th of October 2010.

This highlight’s Tour will be in its eighteenth year, having now been nine times before to the pleasure of many hundreds classic vehicle enthusiasts.

Fellowship and the normal good-hearted camaraderie of vehicle marques will continue we are sure! The normal elements of fun and games will be built in, as well as the fabulous country and sights that New Zealand’s South Island has to offer.

This, 2010 Tour, will be eight days in duration starting in Invercargill then motoring seven days to finish in Christchurch with a full lay day during the week. The final function will be at a special venue around Christchurch. The rest of the week will be pure adventure.

The organisers, as usual, don't want to let too much out at this early stage, but we will say, is that we will be touring through Southland, Fiordland, Central Otago, Mount Cook area and most of inland Canterbury.

This event continues to attract classic vehicle owners time and again from all over and the orgainising team remains motivated to put this next exciting tour together in October 2010.

Many organisations have been there to provide us with incredible support since the events inception back in 1992 which includes Mehrtens Kwik-fit, Pirelli, Penrite Oil and the New Zealand Automotive Association.
