This intermediate size car was AMC's replacement, in 1957, for their former Nash and Hudson fullsize cars. They were available only in four door models: a sedan, a hard to, and the very popular station wagon. The Rambler Six was replaced by the Rambler Classic in 1961.Wikipedia entry
