History

The Hudson Jet was introduced in 1953 by the independent auto maker Hudson.  It was marketed to compete against the better selling Nash Ramber.  When Hudson and Nash merged in January of 1954 the now AMC Hudson Jet was allowed to "die" at the end of the 1954 model year.
