History
Chassis used as a basis for commercial vehicles, and related to, and using the mechanicals of the PV444. Because the PV444 was a monocoque it did not have a separate chassis, and so could not easily be converted to trucks etc, and so the 445 was designed.The 445 consisted of a chassis and a cab section, and it was this that was delivered to caochbuilders. Volvo in fact used the 445 chasis as a basis for its own stationwagon -- the Duett
