The combustion chamber and valve seat where the bent valve was. It looks as though this may have been the cylinder one which the piston properly let go, with metal flying all about, judging from the battering it seems to have taken. Assuming the head hasn't warped and is still usable, I suspect the seat will have to be re-cut (there's a small 'nick' in it at the bottom).
