The Amazon, which was sold for £8,200 plus Premium and tax, had: B18 1786cc motor with lightened and balanced flywheel and AP competition clutch, balanced crankshaft, con-rods and Mahle pistons, Volvo K camshaft with 10.8mm lift, lightened cam-followers, steel timing gears, gas-flowed cylinder head with 10.6:1 compression ratio, bronze valve guides, double valve springs, 42mm inlet and 35mm exhaust valves in 214n stainless steel, 8mm head gasket, twin HS6 SU carbs with pressure regulator, red-top Bendix pumps and filters, Tony Law manifold and exhaust system, full rewire with all circuits fused and 55amp alternator. Phew!
