Updated 24th July 2007

It's wonderful seeing things like the new sills, floors and the wheel arches all coming together at last. I'm told it took about 5 weeks of working full time to get to this stage. I'm hoping by the end of the year that the worst areas needing repair will be finished...but we shall see as we cut away the rust and replace the panels.

The instruments have gone off to be restored and re-calibrated, and the dash is having the rust cut out and replaced with new metal, as it too has suffered (like most of the car) from being left out in the elements over the years. The small dash panel should be getting a new coat of Black Pearl at roughly the same time.

That's about all for the update for now...will add more later as and when.
