This'll have to be a quick one. Picked up the re-bored block on Monday -- the shop had done a great job, even hot-tanked it (though I said I couldn't afford it, they did it anyway, gratis).

It's now 0.060" oversize and looking so much better. Still some cleaning out to do, of course, but it meant I was able to order the main missing parts, i.e. the pistons, rings, pushrods and lifters -- all from Summit Racing.

I've also ordered a rebuild kit for the Holley 650cfm double-pumper I had on the race engine. It's covered with dust and cobwebs at the moment, but I'm sure it will clean up nicely.

No pics yet, but will do some when I've done more cleaning of the block.
