Last Christmas Break
Howdy,
Well last Christmas I was sitting in the living room showing my family some pictures from California, and then my mustang started in the garage. At this time I was thinking that someone was stealing my car so I began running towards the garage to beat someone up. When I got to the garage i discovered the whole area was covered with white smoke pouring from the mustang. Apparently the starter had shorted out along with other things and had caused the whole wiring harness, yes the whole damn thing, to burn up and cause a fire. My first reaction was to shut the car down, but the problem was that the battery cables was shut tight. So i immediately grabbed the top distributor wire and yanked it loose not realizing that I was get the crap shocked out of me by doing this. Of course the car shut down but the starter was still whirring trying to start the car. But by now I could take the time to disconnect the battery.
All in all this little fiasco cost me about 1600 bucks.
