Autopendium :: stuff about old cars

Just bought some rear fenders for the Mercury, at $799 each side plus shipping these are the most expensive parts bought for the car yet. But it has to be done, and nobody but Sherman Parts make them any more.
They will arrive with Martyn in California towards the end of the week. By that time I should also have the new trunk floor there too, so I'll post a couple of photos at the same time.

Now hopefully we can crack on with the lower half of the car and get rid of the rot and make the car solid once more...then we can make a start on the fun part...chopping the roof!
