Interior rebuild: can't beat leather

Tags: headrests interior leather rebuild seats

With the rebuild progressing well, work has now started on the interior, with the work being carried out by a trimmer Lance knew from Rolls Royce, Paul Houliston.

After a fair bit of humming and hahing, in the end I've gone for a rich burgundy leather. The burgundy (which the photos don't do justice to) will I think work well against the midnight blue pearl of the body, and is being offset with a blue-charcoal leather using for the piping and in a couple of other places.

In addition, I've managed to track down a pair of original late-model Amazon headrests from ClassicVolvo.com (thanks to redranch for spotting these). These slot in neatly into the existing frames (which will be blasted and painted) as you can see from the photo.
