I've been after these babies for a few good months now, having spoken to quite a few people and gone down some blind alleys, but it's all been worth the wait.

In the end it was the ever helpful Simon at Brookhouse Volvo who got me close enough to finish the search , tracking down the K&N code for the K&N pancake-shaped filters that are usually fitted on twin SU B18s.

However, these won't work on a right-hand drive Amazon as they foul against the clutch cylinder.

What you need are these beauties, which not only have a better profile (and look the dog's) but have a 41mm offset, moving the away from the cylinder.
