Well, I now have one less car and an envelope of cash, I sold the car (via ebay) to a guy in France who came over to the UK and drove the car back down to the South West of France. It came with the Ruddspeed parts and the rebuilt engine too.
Sad to see it go but I do have the Estate for the time being.
He's just emailed me to say that he made it back without any problems, well apart from two spark plug cable worked themself loose and a valve cover bolt went missing and slashed some oil over the engine...but nothing major for an 11 or 12 hour trip in a 40 year old car.
I'm glad it's gone to a good home.
Here are a few photos of the car in France...I've just seen the car on the French ebay site, it seems he needs a new roof for his barn and the car is to be sold....I'd tempted to buy it back if he'd not doubled the price I sold it to him for.
