Just got back from a trip to Lance at Romance of Rust. We spoke earlier in the week, and he told me he'd lost his notes made when I went to see him last year. So we agreed that'd I'd pop round there today, we'd go through what needed doing, and he'd do the quote while I waited.

I don't know how much the respray's going to cost (and that depends partly on the paint, which I haven't yet chosen), but the whole thing's not going to be cheap, even with Lance doing me a deal for messing me about a bit.

However, given how well the Amazon's looked after me over the past 18 years, it seems only fair, and it'll be great to have the old girl better than new.

I'll put details of what's going to be done in another post, but it'll be going in at the end of next week, and will probably be in there for 3 months or so.

On a slightly negative note, in the past week I've managed to pick up another dent, just by being parked in the street -- this time on the TOP of the offside wing. How'd the hell that happen?
