Updated 28th October 2007

As you might have seen in some of the photos posted this year you'll have seen that I have very little of a trunk floor left, so with that in mind I started the hunt for a new floor.
To get Martyn to fabricate one would be too expensive in man hours, so after a few posts on various website I was pointed in the direction of www.shoeboxford.com

I put a ad in the Classified section and a few weeks later I had an email from Ed in Texas who had a complete 51 trunk floor left over from his wonderful restoration of his 51 convertible (cream with a red interior).

So for $75 plus $25 for postage to California, I now have a new floor for my 50 Mercury.

No photos of the floor yet but hopefully Ed won't mind if I show his restored 1951 Mercury convertible.
