1965 Volvo Amazon. Well it look like this might be a new addition to the family of cars. It's a 1965 Volvo Amazon with a Ruddspeed engine and gearbox. I owned the car a few years ago but sold it without doing anything to with the car, it's sat in the same position as the new owner never got around to restoring it.
These photos were taken a few weeks ago before being pulled out of the undergrowth, I'm going to clean the car off and see if it's worth restoring or if it's too far gone, I'll whip the engine and gearbox out and find another donor car.

The dash has an original Ruddspeed rev counter, not mounted on the dash as in the 123GT models but actually in the dash. A few of the button have been moved around to accommodate it, but it looks pretty period.

As I'm now based in Switzerland for the next year or so I'm tempted to buy a solid LHD Amazon with a not so great engine swap them over and then I can drive it over here.
