1970 Volvo Amazon 130. Brought from a friend who spent a lot of money with Tony Barrett (when he had South Service)in building a race engine for the car as he wanted to try his hand at rally driving.

The engine had wasn't great at slow speeds around town, but once you opened her up, it was such a quick car. It was also lowered slightly and had a sports exhaust.

I owned it twice, after selling it to my flatmate at the time I bought it back when he moved to the US. Eventually I sold it to Tony Barrett who took the engine out and used it in one of his cars and I think he still has that engine to this day.

I saw the car about a year ago on ebay and went to see it with the intention of bidding on it, but the years/elements hadn't been kind to it and it needed a total restoration, so I passed on it.
