1968 Volvo Amazon 123GT. Bought this from a guy in Southampton, who was only selling it as he'd bought a restored P554 and didn't want this to sit outside.

It had been featured in a few Classic car mags, was owned by a truck driver in Bristol who had done lot's of work to it over the years. I sold it to a guy in Scotland who kept it for a year before putting it on ebay when I watched it with interest for a few weeks, he sold it two or three times but the same old story...they were all fake bidders.

I contacted him and after a chat agreed to buy the car back as I missed driving it.

Took the overnight train to Fort William and drove back the next day, took about 12 hours (I had a detour in Glasgow to see some friends). Would have been a lovely drive if it hadn't have rained all the way back...sods law I guess.

Kept it for a while before selling it on to a guy that wanted to rally it. I guess he still has it.
