My Jabro-SAAB sports racer was built by Ed Alsbury who helped build the Jabro fiberglass body used on many early 60's race cars. The car is tube frame and powered by a 850cc SAAB Monte Carlo 3 cylinder, 2 cycle engine with a Fiat 600 transmission. The car was raced in the midwest of the US in SCCA's H-Modified class. The car continued to be raced until 1975 when it passed through a series of owners who did nothing with it. I purchased it in 2006 from a collecter in Ohio and it is in need of a total restoration.
