Front suspension: looking good

Tags: powder-coating suspension

Arrived this morning for my usual Thursday spent helping out on the Amazon at Romance of Rust to find Mark reassembling the front suspension assembly.

We'd sent off the the cross-member and wishbones etc for blasting and powder-coating and they'd come back last week, looking very nice. Now that I'd brought back the bolts from the metal finishers, and we'd got the progressive springs from Amazon Cars, Mark could put the whole thing back together.

And a thing of beauty it was, in a practical, no-nonsense, anti-concours sort of way. I particularly love the way the zinc-plated bolts go together with the black and the blue poly bushes. Here's a few pics mid-assembly
