So what's happened in the past six months as far as the Volvo's concerned? Not a lot. Lance failed to come back to me (why are good garage people so vague and forgetful?), and the Volvo's been sitting on the streets of London, accumulating more scratches and dents simply by being parked, including a really nasty one on the rear nearside wing.

Sixty per cent of me wants to finally give the Volvo the bodywork and respray it so badly needs, and let's face it, deserve. The other 40% knows that within a month of geting that done, it will be scratched or dented by some idiot who hasn't yet learnt how to park
