Just got a call from Lance -- things moving on nicely. He's aiming to get started on stripping the Amazon as soon as I drop it off on Friday, so that it can be ready for painting next week. Better get on choosing the colour in that case.
Fortunately just got the House of Kolor paint book delivered, so not sure how much work I'll get done today. If you've not seen the HoK book, it's a rather tasty black folder embossed with their logo (which is also spot-varnished -- can't go wrong with black on black). Inside... well let's just say that it's easy to lose a couple of hours in them.
Also treated myself to an IPD alloy rocker cover, which seemed pretty reasonable at $106.25.
After months of not getting anywhere, somewhat dizzy at the speed of things, and need to start making some decisions.
