Bought as a replacemnt for my first car (an A35) when I was 19 I have done around 95,000 miles in this Oxford over the years. It was standard when bought but was soon lowered and the flames added a while later. It was off the road for three and a half years between 1999 and 2003 getting new sills and various other bits including an 1800 engine from a Marina TC. I never quite finished the bodywork then and after a couple of years further use it came off the road again 18 months ago.

Shiny mechanical bits!

The impetus was deciding to buy a very good engine last week that I have to go up to Bradford to collect but it will be worth it. More details on that to follow. In the mean time I've been out with the ...read more
