This 1969 Amazon Estate has been added to the evergrowing growing car collection, I needed something of a workhorse to transport car parts around when I'm back in the UK.

He's had the car for 17 years, it originally came from California. These are some of the details passed down by Lance:

Previously owned by Lt.Commander Robert Sloane (N.A.T.O.)stationed at Ruislip.
Car purchased by him in California. It has the B20 engine with overdrive fitted.A lightened crank. Fuelie head with Volvo race part valves (he think's sodium filled). Recent steel timing gears (approx 10,000 miles ago) performance cam and followers.

Downdraught Weber on Pierce inlet manifold.

Bilsteins shocks all round, Calif lower and upper tailgates,
I.P.D. front anti-roll bar and a performance exhaust system

Will go off the clock, but docile too.

At first I thought I wanted to get stuck into the car and fix all the rust, clean it up and get it looking more presentable...but I have too many project like that at the moment. The car runs and drives and will be my daily work horse until I get around to fixing the bodywork next year.
