1957 Hi line Consul, restored ten years ago after being in a garage since 1968!!! restored as standard..has new carpet fitted but would like the original grey rubber floor covering.

Petrol tank cure!

After ten years of the engine stalling suddenly, wonder what was wrong and after taking things apart again and again I had a chat with John Blythe at Goldendays who told me to take the petrol tank off and give it a clean-out...so, that's what I did, and after getting rid of the usual bits of rust,I came across a piece of 3" sellotape! the culprit! Since the tank has been cleaned the car hasn't stalled once!!
