I get Wilf back. Now with a clutch but also the effects of being parked in a front garden for the best part of a year (had always been garaged previously) and no hope of an MOT. Happily those nice fellows at the MOT garage at Clapham came to the rescue, and a fair bit of welding later Wilf is on the road again - but I know I've got problems coming... Went off the watch the London to Brighton Commercial run with my son Freddy (aged three "Daddy this car is like a rocket") and Julian Balme (in his Lotus Alan +2). Much smoke steam type stuff emerges from rear of (new very noisy) car. Very seized diff, RAC collects and takes to John Castells' workshop... We discover that a three year fits nicely in the back of a +2, John reports that the clutch is on the way out as well. Serves me right for neglect - John now has a massive "to do" list...
